Cozy wool felt slippers are the best for cold feet. Natural wool insulates, breathes and keeps feet at a comfortable temperature. Superior to boiled wool, felted wool is soft and good for sensitive skin. Felted wool wicks moisture, keeping feet warm and dry. Wool is naturally odor-resistant with proper care, breathing and quickly evaporating moisture.
These slippers have a generous toe box that is flexible, allowing toes to spread naturally. The flat, padded bottom encourages natural foot movement, without providing structured arch support. They do not accommodate an insole, nor is an insole included.
Nootkas run true to size for most men. Customers recommend picking your normal shoe size in a men's dress shoe. They have a snug, barefoot fit, so we don't recommend sizing up unless you have wide feet or plan to wear thick socks. For narrow feet, size down. Slippers will come marked with the corresponding EU size.
Customers with high arches or high insteps may find the slippers fit tightly at first, but they will loosen. These work best for medium or somewhat wide feet, as they may be too wide for narrow feet.
The Astoria slippers are made with cruelty-free, mulesing-free New Zealand Merino wool. They are handmade in Nepal in a Fair Trade Certified facility. These classic, minimalist designs are lightweight and very quiet, allowing your feet and toes to spread naturally, promoting foot health.
